New FAQ Section

Site Mechanics Update

Since Illuin is now running under an 'unsupported' D&D edition, I have decided to create an FAQ section for the game.

I plan to implement a 'comments' section, to allow for dialogue. Quite frankly, you guys think of consequences that I simply overlook on many occasions.

It is important to look at this, as there is some errata on the Fly spell (that I recently picked up from Sage Advice) that will change the way that it is used (and possibly would have made our last combat a little more difficult...)

I will periodically post an update when I add to the FAQ (so, no worries that I am going to secretly post things here to pop them on you later!)

Site Mechanics Update

Much of the recent silence on my part has been towards upgrading my base site engine to allow the D&D site to co-exist with my gardening site. Effectively, both livingweb.org and varinagardens.com both point to the exact same code now, but use my site engine (and logged in user level) to determine what is displayed.

I have several other items that I have in the wings to better organize some of our email exchanges, allowing for easier DM-Player communication on Hero goals and the like.

Expanded PC Options

The first expanded class has been posted, effectively changing the core mechanics surrounding the Druid class. This is the standard Druid class in Illuin. There will be variants, but this class replaces what is in the PHB.

It is more powerful, to be sure. That is the point, as this class has been very much under represented in my campaigns. I have given it some juice with some background to possibly increase its prevalence.

Campaign Setting Update

In preparation for the revised Illuin Druid, I have placed some more lore about Yavannah during the Age of Meia. This explains the coming of the first Druids and Gothmog, the Shadowlord's war captain.

Illuin News

I have moved several other classes to the site, expanding some options on the Monk and providing some insight on various magic item differences in other locations.

There are still a few files left on the Group Site, but I hope to get them over shortly.

Site Mechanics Update

Although your journey seems to be taking you away from the Tiger Coast, I have created a Lore section for this area.

Most will care less, but it does provide some more history for the area to allow for deeper character history creation and possible personal quests.
